In short
- Other people see only your Display Name and the profile details you choose to show.
- Your Account Name, email, date of birth and goals are never shown to other people.
- We don’t sell your data or show ads.
- You can delete your account at any time; it’s gone after the waiting period.
Who we are
Conneqti (“we”) runs the Conneqti app and website, which help guests at the same event find and connect with each other. Contact: saikalur@gmail.com.
What we collect
Account: your Account Name, email address, password (kept by our sign-in provider, never readable by us) and date of birth (used only to confirm you’re 18 or older).
Profile: your Display Name, photo, intro, location, interests, field of work, the goals you choose, and your answers to event questions. You choose which of these other guests can see.
Activity: the Connvents you join and your attendance answer, connection requests, connections, blocks, reports, and your chat messages.
Technical: sign-in sessions, IP addresses (for security and rate limits) and error reports.
Analytics: which features are used (for example “joined a Connvent” or “sent a message”), tied to an internal account ID, never your name, email or message text.
How we use it
To run Conneqti: show you the right events, suggest people to meet, deliver requests and messages, and send account emails.
To keep people safe: the text filter, reports and blocks, reviewing reports, and restricting accounts that break the Community Guidelines.
To improve Conneqti, using the analytics above.
We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who sees what
Other guests in a Connvent see your Display Name, plus the profile details and answers you’ve chosen to show. People you’ve connected with can chat with you.
Hosts see the Display Names of their Connvent’s members, their attendance answers, and whether their email is confirmed. Hosts never see your Account Name, email, date of birth or goals.
Conneqti staff can see account details when reviewing a report or helping with your account. Every staff action is recorded.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run Conneqti: Supabase (sign-in, database and file storage), Amazon Web Services (servers), Resend (email), PostHog (product analytics) and Sentry (error reports). They process data only on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, everything personal is deleted at the end of the waiting period (30 days unless the app says otherwise).
Reports and moderation records are kept for safety for 12 months after an account is deleted, under an anonymous ID that can’t be linked back to the person, then deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can see and edit your profile, choose what others see, block people, and delete your account in the app at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or move your data, or to object to how we use it. Email saikalur@gmail.com and we’ll help.
Adults only
Conneqti is for people 18 and older. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we restrict it and delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
